sunday 4th December Frome artisan market

It's that time of year again, and mud hut company's back at our favourite Christmas market on Catherine Hill, Frome.  Loads of fantastic stalls - the best quality, and most diverse, that you'll find.  We'll be there 10 til 4, with Xmas decorations and a smattering of tiles.  Hope you can make it!

hearth tiles

just finished a commission for 20cm India tiles in chocolate grey for a hearth - now I want one for myself!  measuring up in process!  These are great for a hearth as they're 1cm thick, and look the business.  Scrum.

an invitation from the prince!

not to the ball, unfortunately, but mud hut company has the accolade of being one of 50 small UK businesses selected to showcase at the Prince's Pavilions at the Ideal Home Show in March 2012.  A very nice gesture which has given a bit of a boost to a cold November day.

busy day at the office..

a short working day, with little one ill, but working today with lovely Bristol photographer Mike Lusmore in the studio.  Nice.

see us at It's Darling! in Bath

It's that season again...
by all accounts the It's Darling! event at the Guildhall, Bath, is worth going to.  So we're taking the mud hut company parasol along this Sunday to display our gorgeous giftware.  You can't miss it!  Samples of our handmade tiles including our new Moroccan Lace collection will be there too, so you can see the quality for yourself.  If you read this blog, come and say hello!

Fresh out of the kiln today, these are 10cm and 15 x 20cm tiles with soft textures based on a lace/ fabric theme.  Highly detailed, they look great together.  Nice size for a splashback!
